Ahh the cliche female armor in games, comics, fantasy fiction and other such things. Now I like women in skimpy clothes as much as the next guy, but to me there's a time and a place, and if you're going into battle with your torso exposed... Well... I don't think you'll last very long.
I got the idea for this when I was reviewing the series 9 Lego Minifigs I had so far and noticed the mermaid in skimpy clothing and all the armor the knight had. Originally I was going to give the female warrior a "metal thong" instead of armored legs to REALLY emphasis how silly it is, but upon reviewing how it looked I just didn't like it. I also made sure to give her the smallest sword possible while the knight dual wields, again, to emphasis how stupid it can be at times.
As I said, I like women in skimpy clothing as much as the next red blooded man and sometimes I think it can look amazing (heck my limited research for this pointed me in the direction of
this picture, which in my opinion is beautifully drawn but sadly highlights the point I am trying to make here.
